Guci is a tourist attraction waterfalls, hot springs, and park at the foot of Mount Slamet. Approximately 27 km to the south of Slawi. There is a strawberry field that can be learned directly, there are also many inns that have sprung up since the last 5 years.
I usually go to Guci in every weekend with my family, once a week. I often go there by car with my daddy, mommy, brother and sister. Sometimes my grandma also join us to have a trip to Guci.
We always go to Guci and usually swim at hot water pool, eat satay and shopping some food and beverages at Guci’s traditional Market. It is really fun to spend my weekend’s holiday with my beloved family in Guci.
Guci is the most favorite local destination for Tegal people, because it’s near from Tegal and the atmosphere is so nice. So, it’s normal if Guci is very crowded in every weekend.

I miss the every single moment that I and my family spent together in Guci. But, the last time I go to Guci was in my last holiday, Christmas and new year’s holiday.
When I was in holiday, I didn’t have any class at campus, so I decided to go back home to Tegal and I didn’t forget to go to Guci with some of my old friends.
They are my friends from Junior High and Senior High School, Maria, Irfan, Ovi, Rico, and Bintang. They invited me to join their trip to Guci. We went there on Sunday after I finished my  Church service at 8 in the morning by Irfan’s car.
Irfan drove carefully and we arrived at 10 o’clock. Because of this holiday time, Guci was very crowded and the way also has a traffic jam, so we spent more time on the way than usual.
We chose Guciku as our destination place, but, unexpectedly, Guciku was very very very crowded and we couldn’t park our car. Finally, we went to Guci’s traditional market first for bought some of vegetables. Maria’s mom asked her to buy some fresh cabbage. After that, we went to hot water pool in 2Tang’s Hotel.
Next, we ordered some chicken satay and also rabbit satay there. We ate together before we  swam. After we finished it, we swam together and unwittingly we have spent 3 hours at that pool.
Ovi suggested to rinse our body and we went to Slawi for eat ‘Nasi Bakar’. All of us agreed. One by one from us took a bath and after all finished, Rico drove the car to Slawi. In Slawi, we ate the very delicious ‘Nasi Bakar’ with fried chicken, sambals, and lalapan. Those are my favorite food in this world. Yummy!!!
Finally, the day became night. Bintang’s father call him to ask him go home soon. So, Rico took Bintang and Ovi home, since they are brother and sister. After that, I asked Rico, Irfan, and Maria to go to ‘Alun-Alun’, because I needed to buy some street snack for my little sister. Irfan took me there and we got an opportunity to played ‘Becak Cinta’. About 45 minutes later, we finished all of our business there and Irfan took us home one by one, started from Maria, me, and Rico. Next, Irfan went back home with his car.
That was one of my very impressive trip to Guci, because usually I just went there with my family, but at that time, I went Guci with my beloved friends. It was a different story and memory for me, unforgettable and very very very impressive.
This is my story about Guci and a little of local tourist’s destination around Tegal. What’s yours?
